Anti austerity marches coming soon.
Another excuse for rioting, looting and vandalism.

The 2 headline speakers are Russell Brand and Charlotte Church which is mildly amusing as I do like to be lectured on austerity by 2 millionaires who have never done a proper days work in their life.

This just bitter people upset that the Tories got back in, they don't accept the laws of the land and I hope the Police use maximum force on them i.e kettling, baton charges and water cannons.

The fact that two millionaires give a fuck about the fact that the tories want punish the most vulnerable people in society for the mess the banks go us into is delightful.

Just because they are clever and talented enough not to flip burgers for tuppence ha'penny an hour until the day they die doesn't mean they can't have an opinion

If they were poor you'd say they were jealous and bitter.
As they're rich you're saying they're hypocrites.

Can't win can they?

A bunch of soap dodgers moaning about having their cigarette and Beet allowance cut shouldn't really bother that many people

Yeah, fuck the poor, let them rot without having a say, it's the Tory way.

During the last march, someone held a sign, saying the following two phrases:
'No more deaths!'
'Cull the Tories!'

Erm.

No more austerity

So let's protest by costing the country thousands in policing and repairs

WOW!!

Not a big fan of democracy then. May I suggest you move to China? You'll like it there, methinks.

I may not agree with every issue but I respect peoples right to protest.

WHO is full of right wing squares who think protesters are all sop dodging lefttie weirdos.

Well funny watching the knicker wetting.

What mentor said.

Austerity? Laughable

A specific vote on austerity measures?

That would be called a plebiscite, and I think I would have heard about it.

We had a general election.

The country is skint.

What are they marching about?

Mad Dog 10:46 Sat Jun 20
Re: Anti austerity marches coming soon.
We all knew tories would continue austerity and they still got voted in.

Re: Anti austerity marches coming soon.
Are people saying that people shouldn't protest against government policy if they wish?
Does this also apply when the Countryside Alliance are on the streets.

Of course these protests should be peaceful and are often hijacked by elements who are just out for a bit of a ruck and general looting.

Ronald_antly 10:59 Sat Jun 20
Re: Anti austerity marches coming soon.
That doesn't mean that everyone who voted Cuntservative was hankering for austerity.

Perhaps if they allowed the banks to feel some financial realities, and stopped funding wars of aggression they could afford to fund a society worth living in.

Of course, Labour were just as culpable in that regard.

Bungo 10:59 Sat Jun 20
Re: Anti austerity marches coming soon.
It's not so much protesting itself I object to, it's the horrible looking, ridiculous cunts that always seem to make up the vast majority of protesters at any event.

If we could have more normal looking, M&S clothes wearing protesters, without the skanky dreadlocks and hygiene problems, then I'd be able to take them a lot more seriously.
